It is particularly suited to agricultural irrigation, bore water, sewage treatment plants, wastewater systems and raw-water applications.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts Woltman measuring mechanism is positioned in the upper section of the pipe, where there are generally fewer suspended particles in the flowing water. This design allows the meter to operate reliably with water containing up to approximately 30% impurities. Where water is heavily contaminated, an external filter can be installed upstream of the meter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe robust cast iron meter body incorporates a removable measuring insert for straightforward inspection and maintenance. Its completely encapsulated mechanical dry-dial register helps protect the counter from dirt and harsh operating conditions. The meter is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 150mm model has a nominal flow rate of 250,000L\/h, a minimum flow rate of 20,000L\/h and a maximum flow rate of 500,000L\/h. A reed pulser can be retrofitted for connection to compatible monitoring equipment, data loggers, remote displays and control systems.
