The Dositec DOSTEC® AC3-900 is an advanced control piston chemical dosing pump designed for accurate and reliable liquid chemical injection in agriculture, water treatment, industrial processing and chemical dosing systems.
With a maximum injection rate of 900 L/h and pressure capability up to 750 kPa / 7.5 bar, the DTEC-AC3-900 is ideal for very high-flow chemical dosing applications where precise dosing control and stable injection performance are required. Its piston dosing mechanism delivers consistent and repeatable chemical injection, making it suitable for demanding industrial and agricultural installations operating under continuous dosing conditions.
The Dostec AC Advanced Control range is designed for automated dosing systems and can be controlled manually or through external signals. It supports analogue 0/4–20 mA control, proportional pulse control, batch dosing, ModBus supervisory control and manual flow control, allowing the pump to integrate with flow meters, sensors, SCADA systems and other control equipment.
Advanced dosing functions such as low pulsation discharge, slow suction and low flow operation help improve dosing stability, especially in applications involving viscous chemicals or variable dosing requirements. Additional safety device inputs are also available, including level sensor, pressure sensor, flow failure detector, temperature sensor and diaphragm leakage detector.

What flow and pressure range is available?
The DOSTEC® AC range covers flow rates from 3 to 1200 L/h, with pressure up to 20 bar. Piston models are available from small low-flow versions through to high-flow models up to 1200 L/h, depending on the configuration.
What operating modes does the DOSTEC® AC have?
The DOSTEC® AC includes manual dosing, analogue 0/4–20mA control, proportional dosing from flow rate, proportional dosing by pulses, batch dosing by volume, batch dosing by time and ModBus RTU control.
What is the difference between the piston and diaphragm version?
The piston version uses a mechanical piston dosing head, available in materials such as PEUAPM, ceramic or stainless steel 316L, depending on the selected model. It is generally selected where piston-style metering is preferred for the required flow, pressure and chemical compatibility.
What pump head materials are available?
The DOSTEC® AC can be supplied with PP, PVDF or stainless steel 316L wetted parts. Valve ball options include borosilicate, stainless steel 316 and ceramic, with seal options including FPM, EPDM and Aflas.
Can the DOSTEC® AC Piston work with a water meter?
Yes. The pump can dose proportionally from a water meter or flowmeter pulse signal. It supports X:Y pulse mode for low-frequency pulses and %/ppm flowmeter mode for higher-frequency signals.
Can the pump be controlled by a 4–20mA signal?
Yes. In analogue mode, the DOSTEC® AC can dose proportionally to a 0/4–20mA input signal, making it suitable for use with sensors, process controllers, PLC systems and automated dosing systems.
Does the DOSTEC® AC support ModBus?
Yes. The DOSTEC® AC supports RS-485 ModBus RTU control. The listed communication settings include RS485 half-duplex A, B and GND, 9600 baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
What alarms and monitoring features are included?
The DOSTEC® AC includes alarms for level, flow failure, leakage and overpressure. It also provides real-time monitoring, counters, 4–20mA output, pulse output, alarm relay output and level alarm output.
How should the DOSTEC® AC Piston be installed?
The pump should be mounted vertically on a rigid surface, protected from water and heat, with adequate ventilation. The hydraulic installation should include a 150 micron suction filter, injection check valve and a pressure relief valve installed close to the pump to protect against overpressure.
