How Water Treatment Dosing Works

Treatment chemical is stored in a separate tank and drawn into the water system using a chemical dosing pump. The pump delivers a measured quantity of chemical based on the required treatment rate.

Electronic dosing pumps can provide a fixed output or receive signals from a pulse-output water meter to dose proportionally to the volume of water passing through the system.
