Product Overview
The Dositec WMF® 7 is a multifunction digital electromagnetic chemical dosing pump designed for accurate chemical injection in fertigation, irrigation, water treatment and general dosing applications.
With a maximum flow rate of 7 L/h and pressure capability up to 7 bar, this model is ideal for low-flow chemical dosing where greater control flexibility is required. Unlike the manual WMD model, the WMF range offers multifunction control, including manual flow regulation, proportional dosing and analogue 4–20 mA control.
This model is supplied with an automatic degassing head, making it especially suitable for chemicals that can release gas during dosing, such as sodium hypochlorite and other oxidising or gas-forming liquids. The degassing head helps reduce air locking and improves dosing consistency in applications where standard dosing heads may lose prime.
The WMF 7 features a backlit digital display, keypad control, wall-mounted housing and IP65 protection, making it a compact and reliable option for automated chemical dosing systems. The standard configuration includes PVDF head and valves, Pyrex® balls, PTFE diaphragm and Viton® seals, providing strong chemical resistance for a wide range of dosing applications.
The Dositec WMF® 7 is a strong choice where digital control, external signal compatibility and reliable dosing of gas-forming chemicals are required.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Dositec WMF® used for?
The Dositec WMF® is a multifunction electronic dosing pump designed for controlled chemical dosing. It can operate in manual mode, pulse mode from a water meter, or proportional dosing from a mA signal.
What operating modes does the Dositec WMF® have?
The WMF® has 3 possible operating modes: Manual, Pulse and mA Input. Manual mode provides constant dosing, Pulse mode doses in proportion to pulses received from a water meter, and mA Input mode doses in proportion to an incoming mA signal.
Can the Dositec WMF® work with a water meter?
Yes. The WMF® can receive pulses from a water meter and dose proportionally. It supports pulse functions including 1/n, 1 x n, 1 x n with memory, and ppM dosing.
What is ppM dosing mode?
In ppM mode, the pump receives pulses from the water meter and automatically calculates the required dose based on the programmed ppM value, chemical concentration, litres per pulse, and the amount dosed per injection.
Can the Dositec WMF® be controlled by a 4–20mA signal?
Yes. In mA Input mode, the WMF® doses proportionally to the input current. The minimum and maximum mA values, along with the corresponding dosing frequency, can be programmed.
What does the display show?
The WMF® has an 8 x 2 backlit LCD display. It shows operating mode, dosing frequency percentage, mA input value, pulse settings, stop status, level alarm and programming information.
Does the pump have level control?
Yes. The WMF® has an optional level probe input. When the level contact closes, the pump stops dosing, the green ON LED blinks, and the display shows the level status. When the contact opens again, the pump returns to operation.
Can the pump be put into standby?
Yes. Holding the ESC/SBY button for 2 seconds puts the pump into standby mode. In standby, the pump stops dosing and the green ON LED flashes. Holding the button again for 2 seconds returns the pump to operation.
What flow and pressure versions are available?
The WMF® range includes versions such as 2 L/h at 18 bar, 5 L/h at 10 bar, 8 L/h at 8 bar, and 20 L/h at 3 bar. The actual cc per injection changes depending on the model and operating pressure.
Can the Dositec WMF® settings be restored to factory defaults?
Yes. The pump includes a default settings restore function. The factory default mode is ppM, with default values including ppM 0.4, 5% concentration, L/i 1, 0.20cc per injection, and 0 second start-up delay.
