Product Overview
The Dositec DOSTEC® 40-300 is a high volume electric piston chemical injection pump designed for accurate and reliable dosing of fertilisers, additives and liquid chemicals in professional irrigation, fertigation, water treatment and industrial systems.
With a maximum injection rate of 300 L/h and pressure capability up to 7 bar, the DOSTEC 40-300 is suited to applications requiring higher chemical injection volumes than standard electromagnetic dosing pumps. Its piston dosing design provides strong, consistent output and dependable performance across demanding dosing applications.
The DOSTEC 40/50 range is built for controlled chemical injection and is available in piston and diaphragm configurations, with a range of construction materials to suit different chemical compatibility requirements. The DOSTEC 40-300 is a manual electric piston model, making it a strong option for users who need a robust, high-capacity dosing pump with simple, reliable adjustment.
This pump is commonly used for fertiliser injection, water treatment chemical dosing, industrial chemical transfer, agriculture and other process dosing applications where accurate high-volume injection is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the DOSTEC® 40 used for?
The DOSTEC® 40 is a high-performance piston or diaphragm dosing pump designed for accurate dosing of liquid products into hydraulic systems. It is suitable for applications such as water treatment, agriculture, chemical processing, food processing and textile industries.
Is the DOSTEC® 40 available as piston and diaphragm?
Yes. The DOSTEC® 40 is available in both piston and diaphragm configurations. The piston range covers approximate flow rates from 2.5 to 600 L/h, while the diaphragm range covers approximate flow rates from 5 to 300 L/h, depending on the selected model.
What pressure range is available?
Pressure depends on the selected model and dosing head. Some models are available up to 20 bar, with lower-pressure options available for higher flow versions. The manual notes that 20 bar models are only available with ceramic piston.
How is the dosing rate adjusted?
The dosing flow rate can be adjusted from 0% to 100% of pump capacity using the micrometric regulator, without stopping the pump. The pump can also be controlled with a frequency inverter, allowing flow adjustment from 10% to 100% by varying motor frequency.
What power supply options are available?
The DOSTEC® 40 is available in multiple motor options, including three-phase 230/400V, single-phase 230V, single-phase 110V, and 12V or 24V DC versions with 130W or 300W motors.
What materials are available for chemical compatibility?
The DOSTEC® 40 can be supplied with wetted materials such as PP, PVDF and AISI 316 stainless steel. Piston options include PEUAPM or ceramic, while diaphragm models use an elastomer base reinforced with fibre and PTFE covering.
What is the maximum suction lift?
Suction lift varies by model, with many versions rated up to 9 metres / 30 feet when the dosing head and pipework are filled with water at 20°C. Higher flow models may have lower suction lift depending on configuration.
How should the DOSTEC® 40 be installed?
The pump should be installed in a location protected from water, away from heat sources and with adequate air circulation. It should be mounted on a rigid, horizontal surface and fixed with four screws.
What should be included in the hydraulic installation?
The installation should include a 150 micron suction filter, injection check valve, safety relief valve, pressure gauge and, where required, a pulsation dampener, pressure regulating valve, flowmeter and calibration cylinder.
What maintenance is required?
The oil should be changed after the first 500 hours, then every 2000 hours or at least once per year. The piston, seals, diaphragm, bellows and valves should be checked every 3 months or 1000 hours, and the suction filter should be checked monthly.
