Product Overview
The Dositec DOSTEC® AC3-1200D is an advanced control diaphragm chemical dosing pump designed for accurate and reliable liquid chemical injection in agriculture, water treatment, industrial processing and chemical dosing systems.
With a maximum injection rate of 1044–1254 L/h and pressure capability up to 500 kPa / 5 bar, the DTEC-AC3-1200D is ideal for ultra high-flow chemical dosing applications where precise dosing control and stable injection performance are required. Its diaphragm dosing mechanism provides reliable and leak-free chemical injection performance, making it suitable for demanding applications where operational safety and repeatable dosing are important.
The Dostec AC Advanced Control range is designed for automated dosing systems and can be controlled manually or through external signals. It supports analogue 0/4–20 mA control, proportional pulse control, batch dosing, ModBus supervisory control and manual flow control, allowing the pump to integrate with flow meters, sensors, SCADA systems and other control equipment.
Advanced dosing functions such as low pulsation discharge, slow suction and low flow operation help improve dosing stability, especially in applications involving viscous chemicals or low injection rates. Additional safety device inputs are also available, including level sensor, diaphragm leakage detector, pressure sensor, flow failure detector and temperature sensor.
The DTEC-AC3-1200D is a strong choice for automated fertigation, water treatment, chemical dosing and industrial dosing systems requiring accurate ultra high-volume injection with advanced dosing control capability and the added safety advantages of diaphragm dosing technology.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the DOSTEC® AC Diaphragm used for?
The DOSTEC® AC Diaphragm is an advanced automatic dosing pump designed for accurate chemical dosing in water treatment, chemical processing, food, agriculture and industrial applications.
What flow and pressure range is available?
The DOSTEC® AC range covers flow rates from 3 to 1200 L/h, with pressure up to 20 bar, depending on the selected model and dosing head. Diaphragm models are available in a wide range, including smaller high-pressure versions through to high-flow models over 1000 L/h.
What operating modes does the DOSTEC® AC have?
The DOSTEC® AC includes multiple operating modes: manual, analogue 0/4–20mA, proportional to flow rate, proportional by pulses, batch dosing by volume, batch dosing by time and ModBus RTU control.
What is the difference between the diaphragm and piston version?
The diaphragm version uses a PTFE diaphragm with a fibre-reinforced elastomer base, making it suitable for many chemical dosing applications where separation between the drive mechanism and chemical is preferred. The DOSTEC® AC range is available in both diaphragm and piston configurations depending on the chemical, pressure and flow requirement.
What pump head materials are available?
The DOSTEC® AC can be supplied with pump head materials including PP, PVDF and stainless steel 316L. Correct material selection is important and should be matched to the chemical being dosed.
Can the DOSTEC® AC Diaphragm work with a water meter?
Yes. The DOSTEC® AC can dose proportionally from a pulse signal supplied by a water meter or flowmeter. It supports X:Y pulse mode for low-frequency pulses and %/ppm flowmeter mode for high-frequency flowmeters.
Can the DOSTEC® AC be controlled by a 4–20mA signal?
Yes. The pump can dose proportionally to a 0/4–20mA analogue signal, making it suitable for use with controllers, sensors, PLC systems and other automated dosing setups.
Does the DOSTEC® AC support ModBus?
Yes. The DOSTEC® AC supports RS-485 ModBus RTU control. The manual lists RS485 half-duplex communication using A, B and GND, with 9600 baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
What alarms and monitoring features are included?
The DOSTEC® AC includes monitoring and alarm options such as level alarms, flow fault alarm, diaphragm leakage alarm and overpressure alarm. It also supports real-time monitoring, counters, 4–20mA output, pulse output and alarm relay outputs.
How should the DOSTEC® AC Diaphragm be installed?
The pump should be mounted vertically on a rigid surface, protected from water, away from heat sources and with adequate ventilation. A 150 micron suction filter is recommended, and a pressure relief valve should be installed close to the pump to protect the pump and pipework from overpressure.
