Description
Description
Metering pump, wall mount, 5 l/hr @ 5 bar, PVDF pump head for chemical dosing, fixed stroke length, adjustable 10–100% speed with divider, includes installation kit
The EMEC VCO EXSIL 05-05-VF is a quiet-operation electronic dosing pump designed for precise and consistent chemical injection in environments where low noise is critical. Ideal for water treatment, commercial facilities, and industrial systems, it combines reliable performance with reduced acoustic output.
As part of the EXSIL (silent) range within the V Series, this model is engineered to minimize vibration and noise while maintaining accurate dosing. It operates as a constant dosing pump with manual adjustment, allowing users to control dosing rates easily between 10–100%.
The PVDF pump head provides excellent resistance to aggressive and corrosive chemicals, making it suitable for demanding applications. The VF (Viton/FKM) seal configuration ensures compatibility with acidic chemicals and solvents, enhancing durability and operational safety.
Built with a high-strength PTFE diaphragm, the pump offers long service life, minimal maintenance, and dependable performance. Its wall-mounted design allows easy installation and seamless integration into dosing systems.

EMEC VCO Series Electronic Chemical Dosing Pumps
The EMEC VCO Series is a range of electronic solenoid-driven dosing pumps with fully adjustable output control, designed for precise and flexible chemical injection across a wide range of applications. Unlike fixed-output models, the VCO allows users to adjust dosing via stroke speed, making it ideal for systems where chemical demand varies.
The VCO Series is commonly used in water treatment, irrigation dosing, industrial processes, pools, and sanitation systems where accurate and adaptable dosing is required. With robust construction, reliable performance, and simple operation, the VCO range provides a versatile solution for low to medium flow dosing applications.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
