Product Overview
250mm Woltman tangential turbine impeller water meter with Table E flanged connections, robust cast iron housing, dry-dial register and 16 bar maximum operating pressure.
The Zenner WI-N 250mm Woltman Water Meter is designed for reliable measurement in demanding applications where water may contain significant levels of suspended particles or contamination. It is particularly suited to agricultural irrigation, bore water, sewage treatment plants, wastewater systems and raw-water applications.
Its tangential measuring mechanism is positioned in the upper section of the meter body, where there are generally fewer suspended particles in the flowing water. This robust design allows the meter to handle water containing suspended impurities while maintaining reliable mechanical measurement. The WI-N can be used for polluted water or as a check meter in fresh-water applications.
The robust cast iron meter body incorporates a removable measuring insert for straightforward inspection and maintenance. Its encapsulated mechanical dry-dial register helps protect the counter from dirt and harsh operating conditions. The meter is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation and is designed for cold water applications up to 50°C.
The 250mm WI-N configuration provides a large flow measurement capacity, with a nominal flow rate of 250,000L/h and a maximum continuous flow rate of approximately 500,000L/h. The minimum flow rate is approximately 20,000L/h. The meter has a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar (1,600kPa).
A reed pulser can be fitted for connection to compatible monitoring equipment, data loggers, remote displays and control systems. For larger WI-N meters in the DN150–DN300 range, the standard pulse value is 1,000L per pulse, with other pulse values available on request.
