The Dosatron D3 Series is a water-powered proportional dosing pump designed to inject liquid concentrate directly into a water line. It is suitable for chemical dosing, fertigation, water treatment, industrial dosing and other applications where accurate proportional injection is required.

No. The Dosatron D3 operates using water pressure as the power source. As water flows through the unit, it activates the internal motor piston, draws concentrate from the container and injects it proportionally into the water.

The D3 Series operates from 10 L/h to 3 m³/h, which is approximately 1/3 US pint/min to 14 US GPM, depending on the model.

Most D3 models operate from 0.3 to 6 bar, or approximately 4.3 to 85 PSI. The D3IL10 model operates from 0.5 to 6 bar, or approximately 7 to 85 PSI.

The D3 Series includes several dosing ranges depending on the model: 0.03%–0.3%, 0.2%–2%, 0.5%–5%, and 1%–10%. This covers ratios from 1:3000 through to 1:10.

The Dosatron D3 uses 3/4" male BSP or NPT connections, listed as Ø 20 x 27mm.

The package includes 1 Dosatron unit, 1 wall mounting bracket, 1 suction tube for concentrated additive, 1 strainer, and 1 owner’s manual.

The maximum suction height is 4 metres / 13 feet. The suction tube should be fitted with the strainer and weight, then placed into the solution to be injected.

Dosatron recommends installing a filter upstream of the unit, especially when using bore water, dam water or water with particles. The manual gives an example of 300 mesh / 60 micron, depending on water quality, and notes that a filter is required for warranty validity.

The injection area should be rinsed after use by drawing clean water through the suction tube. Routine inspection is recommended once per year, with maintenance by an approved Dosatron distributor when required.
