Description
Metering pump, wall mount, 35 l/hr @ 1 bar, PVDF self-venting (de-gassing) pump head for chemical dosing, fixed stroke length, adjustable speed, includes installation kit
The EMEC TACO 01-35-VF is an entry-level electronic dosing pump from the T Series, designed for reliable and straightforward chemical injection in water treatment and industrial applications. It is ideal for systems requiring higher flow rates at low pressure with simple and dependable operation.
This model features a self-venting (de-gassing) PVDF pump head, making it particularly suitable for chemicals that release gas, such as sodium hypochlorite. This design prevents air locking, ensuring consistent dosing accuracy and smooth pump operation.
The VF (Viton/FKM) seal configuration provides excellent resistance to acidic and aggressive chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of dosing applications. Built with a high-resistance diaphragm, the pump ensures durability and long service life with minimal maintenance.
Designed as a constant dosing pump, the TACO series offers simple manual control, making it a cost-effective and practical solution for standard dosing requirements. Its wall-mounted design allows easy installation and integration into dosing systems.

EMEC TACO Series Electronic Chlorine Dosing Pumps
The EMEC TACO Series is an entry-level range of electronic solenoid dosing pumps with self-venting pump heads, specifically designed for accurate and reliable chlorine injection. Featuring a PVDF self-venting (de-gassing) head, the TACO range automatically removes gas build-up caused by sodium hypochlorite, ensuring consistent dosing performance and preventing air lock issues.
These pumps are ideal for chlorination systems, water treatment, pools, irrigation disinfection, and sanitation applications where stable chlorine dosing is critical. With simple controls, adjustable dosing output, and robust construction, the TACO Series provides a cost-effective and dependable solution for low to medium flow chlorine dosing systems.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
