EMEC VAMF Series Digital Self-Venting Chlorine Dosing Pumps
The EMEC VAMF Series is a range of digital solenoid-driven dosing pumps with self-venting (de-gassing) pump heads, specifically designed for accurate and reliable chlorine injection. Combining a digital control interface with a PVDF self-venting head, the VAMF range automatically removes gas build-up caused by sodium hypochlorite, ensuring consistent dosing performance and eliminating air lock issues.
The VAMF Series is ideal for water treatment systems, pools, irrigation disinfection, and sanitation applications where precise and stable chlorine dosing is essential. With digital adjustment of dosing output, robust construction, and dependable performance, the VAMF range offers a more advanced solution compared to standard manual or non-vented models.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
