EMEC dosing pumps and control instruments are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects only. PRIUS pumps are covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
To claim warranty, the product must be returned to the manufacturer, authorised distributor or nominated assessment location with proof of purchase. The unit will be inspected and repaired or replaced if a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
CONDITONS
- Product must be installed, operated and maintained as per manufacturer instructions.
- Product must be accessible for inspection, servicing or removal.
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
- Warranty repairs or replacements do not extend the full original warranty period, except where required under the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
- Periodic maintenance is required to ensure correct operation.

- Incorrect installation, misuse or operation outside specifications
- Lack of maintenance or unauthorised servicing
- Damage caused by transport, external factors or environmental conditions
- Wear parts, removable parts or consumable components
- Damage caused by chemical incompatibility or incorrect chemical use
- Damage caused by water impurities, debris, scale or poor water quality
- Any damage caused by failure to follow the product instructions

The EMEC KPLUS 10-05-VF is a solenoid-driven electronic dosing pump from the K Series, designed for precise and reliable chemical injection in demanding industrial and water treatment applications. Its foot-mounted configuration provides stable installation and consistent performance in continuous-duty systems.
Delivering up to 5 L/h at 10 bar, this model is ideal for higher-pressure dosing requirements with moderate flow rates. The PVDF pump head ensures excellent chemical resistance, while VF Viton (Acidic) seals provide superior compatibility with acidic and aggressive chemicals, ensuring long service life and operational reliability.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
