Hydro Systems SuperDos 45 water powered dosing pumps are non-electric, proportional chemical injectors designed to accurately introduce liquid concentrates into water systems using water flow as the power source. The water-driven piston draws concentrate from a solution container and injects it into the water supply in proportion to the water flow, providing consistent chemical dosing without the need for electricity.
The SuperDos 45 is the highest-flow model in the SuperDos range, handling water flow rates from 0.25 to 45 GPM (57 to 10,000 L/hr) at operating pressures from 5 to 100 psi (0.34 to 6.9 bar). It is available in 0.3%, 2.5% and 5% configurations, providing injection ranges from 0.025% to 5% (1:4,000 to 1:20), depending on the model. The 5% model has a maximum operating pressure of 80 psi (5.5 bar). The pump uses 1¼-inch NPT/BSP connections and provides average dosing accuracy of ±5% of the ratio with ±3% repeatability.
Multiple seal options provide chemical compatibility for different applications, while the SuperDos 45 is suited to higher-flow horticulture, animal health and industrial applications including nutrient delivery, chemical delivery, cutting-fluid dilution, coolant dilution and lubricant dilution. Its high flow capacity makes it particularly suitable for larger water systems where reliable proportional chemical injection is required without electrical power.
