AZUD DF25-120M 25mm Inline Heavy-Duty Polypropylene Disc Filter

The Azud DF25-120M uses a 130-micron disc element, equivalent to approximately 120 mesh. It is designed to capture suspended particles that could otherwise block drippers, micro-sprinklers, valves and dosing equipment.

The 25mm model has a maximum recommended flow rate of 6 m³/h, which is approximately 100 L/min or 26 gpm. For best filtration performance, the filter should be selected based on the system flow and expected pressure loss.

The filter is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar, or approximately 116 psi. The system pressure should remain within this limit during normal operation and any pressure surges.

Isolate the water supply and release all internal pressure before opening the filter. Remove the disc element, loosen the compressed disc stack and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. For heavier contamination, the discs can be gently separated and cleaned before reassembly. The threaded design helps prevent the discs from being accidentally lost during maintenance.

Cleaning frequency depends on the water quality, flow rate and amount of suspended material. Check the filter whenever system flow decreases or the pressure difference across the filter increases. Installing pressure gauges before and after the filter can make it easier to identify when cleaning is required.

Yes. The AZUD Modular 100 range is designed specifically for irrigation water filtration and is suitable for drip irrigation, micro-sprinklers, horticulture and fertigation systems. Its technical plastic housing and polypropylene disc element also provide good resistance for many agricultural water applications.

The maximum operating temperature is 60°C. It should not be used with water or liquids above this temperature.
