Dosatron D20SVF 0.2–2% Standard Water Powered Dosing Pump

The Dosatron D20 Series is a high-flow water-powered proportional dosing pump designed for injecting liquid additives into a water line. It is suitable for larger-scale animal health, agriculture, fertigation, water treatment and chemical dosing applications.

No. The D20 operates using water pressure as the power source. Water flow activates the internal motor piston, which draws concentrate into the unit, mixes it with the water, and sends the treated solution downstream.

The D20 operates from 1 m³/h to 20 m³/h, which is approximately 5 to 100 US GPM.

The operating pressure range is 0.12 to 10 bar, or approximately 2 to 120 PSI.

The D20 has an externally adjustable dosing range of 0.2% to 2%, equal to a ratio of 1:500 to 1:50.

The D20 uses 2" male BSP or NPT connections, listed as Ø50 x 60mm. It can also be connected to suitable flexible hose with an internal diameter of 50mm using clamps and turning adapters.

A water filter must be installed upstream of the Dosatron. The manual gives an example of 50 mesh / 300 micron, depending on water quality. Filtration is especially important where water contains sand, particles or impurities, and it is required for warranty validity.

Yes. The D20 can be installed directly inline or on a bypass, but a bypass installation is recommended. This allows clean water to pass without operating the Dosatron and also makes the unit easier to isolate for servicing.

The injection area should be rinsed after use by drawing clean water through the suction tube. Dosatron recommends routine maintenance once per year, including replacing the dosing seals and suction tube annually to maintain accurate injection.
