The Dositec DOSMART® AC 12 is an advanced control stepper motor chemical dosing pump designed for highly accurate and consistent chemical injection across water treatment, fertigation, agriculture and industrial dosing applications.
With a maximum dosing capacity of 12 L/h and pressure capability up to 7 bar, the DOSMART® AC 12 is ideal for medium-flow chemical dosing systems requiring stable and repeatable injection performance. Its advanced stepper motor technology delivers smooth, uniform dosing with excellent precision and low pulsation, even when handling aggressive chemicals or demanding operating conditions.
The AC advanced control version provides multiple dosing modes including manual dosing, proportional dosing, analogue 4–20 mA control, batch dosing and ModBUS communication capability. The system also supports remote start, pulse control, level sensor input, flow monitoring and remote supervision via WEB and APP connectivity, making it suitable for both standalone and fully automated dosing installations.

The DOSmart® AC is a stepper motor-driven dosing pump designed for accurate and efficient dosing of liquid chemicals. It is suitable for water treatment, chemical processing, food processing, agriculture and general industrial dosing applications.
What flow and pressure range is available?
The DOSmart® range covers dosing requirements from 1.5 to 60 L/h, with pressure ratings up to 16 bar, depending on the selected model.
What makes the DOSmart® AC different from the BC version?
The DOSmart® AC has advanced control and monitoring features, including 0/4–20mA analogue input, level pre-alarm input, leak detector input, flow sensor input, pressure sensor input, RS-485 ModBus, 4–20mA output, pulse output and alarm relay outputs.

Can the DOSmart® AC dose proportionally from a water meter?
Yes. The DOSmart® AC can dose proportionally from a pulse signal supplied by a water meter or flowmeter. It supports X:Y pulse mode for low-frequency signals and %/ppm flowmeter mode for higher-frequency flowmeters.
Can the DOSmart® AC be controlled by a 4–20mA signal?
Yes. In analogue mode, the pump doses proportionally to a 0/4–20mA input signal. This allows the dosing rate to be controlled by external instruments such as controllers, sensors or PLC systems.
Does the DOSmart® AC support ModBus?
Yes. The DOSmart® AC can be controlled via RS-485 ModBus RTU. The manual lists RS485 half-duplex communication with A, B and GND connections, 9600 baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
What materials are available for the pump head?
The DOSmart® range can be supplied with PP, PVDF or stainless steel 316 pump head materials. Selecting the correct head, seal and ball material is important depending on the chemical being dosed.
Does the DOSmart® AC have alarms?
Yes. The DOSmart® AC includes configurable alarms for level, flow fault, diaphragm leakage and overpressure. Alarm relay outputs can also be configured depending on the installation requirements.
How should the DOSmart® AC be installed?
The pump should be installed on a rigid horizontal surface in a place protected from water, away from heat sources and with adequate air ventilation. A suction filter of 150 micron is recommended, and a pressure relief valve should be installed close to the pump to protect the system from overpressure.
