Product Warranty

Dosatron products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects only.

To claim warranty, the product must be returned to the manufacturer or authorised distributor with proof of purchase. The unit will be inspected and repaired or replaced if the defect is confirmed.

CONDITIONS

- Product must be rinsed and free of chemicals before return.
- Return postage is paid by the customer.
- Warranty repairs do not extend the original warranty period.

- Lack of maintenance
- Environmental damage or corrosion
- Seal wear (consumable parts)
- Damage caused by water impurities such as sand

REQUIREMENTS

A filter (approx. 60 micron / 250 mesh) must be installed upstream of the Dosatron for the warranty to remain valid.

The EMEC AMSPLUS 02-60-EPDM is a high-performance solenoid-driven chemical dosing pump from the AMS Series, designed for accurate and reliable dosing in demanding industrial environments. Its foot-mounted configuration ensures stable installation, making it ideal for larger systems and continuous operation.

With a dosing capacity of 60 L/h at 2 bar, this model is well-suited for medium to high-volume chemical injection applications. The PVDF pump head provides excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, while the EPDM (Alkaline) seals are specifically suited for alkaline and water-based chemicals, ensuring durability and long service life.

The AMS PLUS series features analog control with adjustable dosing options including constant operation, multiplier/divider settings, and compatibility with mA signal input. This allows flexible and precise control of dosing rates based on system requirements.

Engineered with a high-strength PTFE diaphragm and solenoid-driven mechanism, the pump ensures consistent performance, low maintenance, and long-term reliability. It also supports both manual and self-venting configurations for enhanced usability.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works

An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.

When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.

The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
