Dosatron products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects only.
To claim warranty, the product must be returned to the manufacturer or authorised distributor with proof of purchase. The unit will be inspected and repaired or replaced if the defect is confirmed.
CONDITIONS
- Product must be rinsed and free of chemicals before return.
- Return postage is paid by the customer.
- Warranty repairs do not extend the original warranty period.

- Lack of maintenance

- Damage caused by water impurities such as sand
REQUIREMENTS
A filter (approx. 60 micron / 250 mesh) must be installed upstream of the Dosatron for the warranty to remain valid.

The EMEC KCOPLUS 10-05-VF is a heavy-duty solenoid-driven chemical dosing pump from the K Series, designed for precise and reliable dosing in demanding industrial and water treatment applications. Its foot-mounted configuration ensures stable installation and consistent operation in continuous-duty environments.
With a dosing capacity of up to 5 L/h at 10 bar, this model is ideal for applications requiring lower flow with higher pressure. The PVDF pump head provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, while the VF Viton (Acidic) seals are specifically suited for acidic chemical dosing, ensuring durability and long service life.
The K PLUS analog control system enables flexible dosing adjustment, including constant dosing, multiplier/divider functions, and compatibility with mA signal input. This allows accurate and adaptable dosing performance based on system requirements.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
