50mm flanged dirt box with a removable stainless steel strainer for protecting downstream water meters from debris and contamination.
The RMC 1N114 Meter Dirt Box helps protect Woltman and other compatible flanged water meters from large suspended particles, fibrous contamination and debris carried through water pipelines.
Its stainless steel strainer captures particles from approximately 5mm, helping prevent contamination from reaching the downstream meter. This can reduce congestion, protect the meter’s internal measuring mechanism and minimise debris accumulating around its bearings.
The removable strainer insert provides straightforward access for inspection and cleaning. With a maximum operating pressure of 1,600kPa and water temperature rating up to 50°C, the 1N114 is suitable for cold-water utility, irrigation, agricultural and industrial installations.
