Tefen MixRite LF-1000 Low-Flow 0.2–2% Water Powered Dosing Pump

The MixRite LF-1000 is a low-flow proportional dosing pump designed to inject additives into a water line using water pressure and flow. It is suitable for applications where accurate chemical, fertiliser or additive dosing is required at lower flow rates.

The MixRite LF-1000 operates from 10 to 1000 L/h, making it suitable for smaller irrigation, greenhouse, nursery, livestock and water treatment applications.

The operating pressure range is 0.2 to 8 bar. The user is responsible for ensuring the water pressure and flow do not exceed the pump’s specifications.

The LF-1000 model shown in the manual is a 0.2% fixed dosing model, meaning it doses at a fixed ratio rather than an adjustable ratio.

The MixRite LF-1000 uses 3/4" couplings. The manual also notes that only plastic connectors should be used, and metallic tools should not be used on the unit.

The pump can be installed inline or on a bypass. The water must flow in the direction shown by the arrows on the unit. The installation diagrams show recommended components such as valves, filter, pressure regulator, manometer, backflow preventer and anti-siphon valve.

The suction strainer should be suspended at least 10 cm / 4" above the bottom of the additive tank. This helps prevent insoluble particles from being drawn into the pump and damaging the assembly.

After use, it is recommended to run clean water through the pump. The water filter and additive suction filter should be cleaned regularly, seals should be replaced yearly, and the suction tube should be replaced if it becomes chemically damaged.
