Product Overview
300mm Woltman turbine impeller water meter with Table E flanged connections, robust cast iron housing, dry-dial register and 16 bar maximum operating pressure.
The Zenner WI-N 300mm Woltman Water Meter is designed for reliable measurement in demanding applications where water may contain significant levels of suspended particles or contamination. It is particularly suited to agricultural irrigation, bore water, sewage treatment plants, wastewater systems and raw-water applications.
Its turbine impeller measuring mechanism is positioned in the upper section of the meter body, where there are generally fewer suspended particles in the flowing water. This design helps the meter operate reliably with polluted or raw water, with the WI-N capable of handling water containing up to approximately 30% impurities. Where water is heavily contaminated, an external filter can be installed upstream of the meter.
The robust cast iron meter body incorporates a removable measuring insert for straightforward inspection and maintenance. Its completely encapsulated mechanical dry-dial register helps protect the counter from dirt and harsh operating conditions. The meter is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation and is designed for cold water applications up to 50°C.
The 300mm WI-N uses a turbine measuring design and Table E flanged connection. It is intended for high-volume water measurement in large irrigation, raw-water, wastewater and industrial systems. The WI-N series has a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar (1,600kPa), with the 300mm model falling within the DN150–DN300 range that uses a standard 1,000L pulse value when fitted with a reed pulser.
A reed pulser can be retrofitted without damaging the calibration seal, allowing the meter to connect to compatible monitoring equipment, data loggers, remote displays, irrigation controllers and control systems. The standard pulse value for WI-N meters from DN150 to DN300 is 1,000L per pulse, with other pulse values available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Zenner WI-N 300mm used for?
The Zenner WI-N 300mm is designed for high-volume measurement of polluted or untreated water in agricultural irrigation, bore-water systems, raw-water applications, sewage treatment plants and wastewater systems. It can also be used as a check or control meter for fresh-water applications.
What is the flow range?
The 300mm model is a high-capacity WI-N turbine meter. Confirm the exact Q3/Q4 flow configuration against the supplied manufacturer datasheet or meter specification before assigning a specific minimum and maximum flow range to inventory.
Is the WI-N suitable for dirty or contaminated water?
The WI-N is specifically designed for polluted water and can tolerate impurity levels of up to approximately 30%. For very heavily contaminated water, an external filter can be installed upstream of the meter.
What type of connection does the 300mm meter use?
The 300mm model uses a Table E flanged connection configuration. Confirm the exact supplied flange and bolt configuration against the meter before installation.
Can it be installed vertically?
Yes. The WI-N is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation positions.
What is the maximum operating pressure?
The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar, equivalent to 1,600kPa.
Does the meter include a pulse output?
