Description
Description
Metering pump, wall mount, 7 l/hr @ 10 bar, PVDF self-venting (de-gassing) head for Chlorine, fixed stroke length, adjustable 10–100% speed with divider, includes installation kit
The EMEC VACO 10-07-VF is a high-pressure electronic chemical dosing pump engineered for accurate and reliable injection of chlorine and other chemicals across water treatment, agricultural, and industrial applications. It is ideal for systems requiring higher pressure with moderate flow rates.
Equipped with a self-venting (de-gassing) PVDF pump head, this model is specifically suited for dosing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite that release gas. The de-gassing design prevents air lock, ensuring consistent dosing performance and operational stability.
The pump features a PTFE diaphragm combined with Viton (VF) seals, offering excellent resistance to aggressive and acidic chemicals while minimising wear and maintenance. Its robust wall-mounted construction ensures easy installation and secure operation in a wide range of environments.
Designed for continuous-duty use, the EMEC VACO series provides dependable, efficient, and precise chemical dosing for demanding applications.

EMEC VACO Series Electronic Chemical Dosing Pumps
The EMEC VACO Series is a range of electronic solenoid-driven dosing pumps with self-venting (de-gassing) pump heads, designed for accurate and reliable chemical injection in applications involving chlorine and other gas-forming chemicals. The PVDF self-venting head automatically removes gas build-up, ensuring consistent dosing performance and eliminating air lock issues commonly associated with sodium hypochlorite.
The VACO Series is ideal for water treatment systems, chlorination, pools, irrigation disinfection, and industrial dosing applications where precise and continuous chemical injection is required. With adjustable dosing control, robust construction, and dependable performance, the VACO range provides a reliable solution for low to medium flow dosing systems.

How an EMEC Solenoid Pump Works
An EMEC solenoid dosing pump works by using an electromagnetic coil (solenoid) to drive a piston or diaphragm back and forth in rapid strokes.
When the solenoid is energised, it pulls the diaphragm inward, creating suction that draws chemical into the pump head through an inlet check valve. When the coil de-energises, a spring pushes the diaphragm outward, forcing the chemical through an outlet check valve and into the dosing line.
The dosing rate is controlled by adjusting the stroke frequency and/or stroke length, allowing precise and consistent chemical injection regardless of changes in water flow or pressure.
